Join creative New Yorkers for an afternoon of art, performance, conversation, and libations with Le Salon: Cloud City at the Williamsburg performance space Cloud Cityon Sunday February 15th from 2:30pm – 5pm.
Inspired by the idea of the 18th century Salons that became popular in France where a host curated an evening of art to be shared among creative people in the privacy of their own home, the goal of Le Salon is to encourage future collaborations among artists, enjoy an afternoon of site specific work across several disciplines, and find inspiration for your own future projects.
This time around we will be featuring the premier screening of short film “Bodies of Water” adapted by Liza Bennett and produced and starring Liza and Orange is the New Black star Yael Stone, Moth storyteller and musician Nhu An Do, dancer and Sleep No More performer Marla Phelan, artist Yazmany Arboleda, and music for the newly conceived musical by The Scouts an all chick folk band created by Jeanna Phillips, Kelsey Larsen and Hannah Whitney and directed by Kate Hopkins. And more artists are still joining the party!
Please bring a friend and enjoy the art and cash bar on Sunday, February 15th at 2:30pm
